Cyber Wales
A Flourishing Cyber Ecosystem
Cyber Wales supports collaboration among domestic and international companies and organizations in the field of cybersecurity, and provides a platform for raising awareness and discussion among stakeholders. With two main objectives, namely, the sharing of cybersecurity information and promoting growth in the cybersecurity capabilities of its members, it maintains close ties with the UK government and 19 cyber clusters within the UK. Through various collaborations and mutual support, Cyber Wales contributes to making Wales a globally recognized hub of cybersecurity expertise. In addition, the Welsh government supports Cyber Wales member companies in establishing their presence on the global stage and participating in large-scale international trade fairs and conferences.
Key participants include the cybersecurity organizations of global companies such as Airbus, Aston Martin, Thales, and General Dynamics, based in South Wales, in addition to over 400 cyber-related companies within Wales, 8 universities, 14 colleges, the police, the military, and 22 administrative organizations. It also has cooperative relationships with over 30 international organizations globally.
